We had fantastic weather and some very exciting driving for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust Charity Grand Prix on Sunday, 22nd July. A total of 39 drivers raced their way to the finish line with masses of spectators cheering them on. Drivers were taking no prisoners on track and a there was a fight to the finish. One incident saw Ben Hayward cutting grass after rubbing against BTCC and professional GT driver Luke Davenport! Despite the competitive spirit, the mood was lightheart
July saw one of the hottest club rounds in many a year; the heat and the World cup football meant we were a little bit low on entries but the racing was as exciting as ever.
Honda Cadets saw Thomas Ready (22) finish 1st In the final followed home by Caiden Morris (85) & Jack Williamson (27). Freddie Hull (99) just missed out on a trophy in 4th.
Oliver Gaillard (42) made the jump from Clubman to Pro by finishing in 5th.
