Race Event Co-ordinator
Full and part-time Race Event Co-ordinators are required to join the Red Lodge team to provide a friendly, enjoyable and professional service to customers whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety are maintained during karting race events.
The role would involve supervising race marshals and liaising with workshop and office staff to ensure the smooth running of events.
In addition to race event co-ordinating, duties would also include:
- Ensuring daily circuit and equipment safety checks are carried out
- Greeting customers and presenting driver safety briefings
- Delivering the race de-brief and trophy presentation
- Race directing race events
- Assisting in the maintenance of the circuit
As a Race Event Co-ordinator, you would need to be approachable, friendly, confident and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. Additionally, we would expect you to be well organised, reliable, responsible, diligent, physically mobile and be able to react positively and calmly to unexpected incidents.
An interest in motor sport (either as a competitor or as a spectator) is an advantage and it would be a benefit if you have experience of race marshalling although this is not essential as full training is provided.
It would also be desirable if you are IT literate, numerate and first aid qualified.
A full driving licence is required and access to your own transport would be needed to the rural location of the company.
