Vacancies

Full or part-time Race Event Co-ordinators & Race Marshals are required to join the Red Lodge team to provide a friendly, enjoyable and professional service to customers whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety are maintained during karting race events.

Race Marshals work as part of a team organising race events

Additionally, duties include:

- ensuring the safety of customers whilst on the circuit

- assisting in the maintenance of the circuit and facilities

Race Coordinators are responsible for supervising race marshals and liaising with workshop and office staff to ensure the smooth running of events

Additionally, duties include:

- ensuring daily circuit and equipment safety checks are carried out
- greeting customers and presenting driver safety briefings
- delivering race de-briefs and trophy presentations
- directing and co-ordinating race events
- assisting in the maintenance of the circuit

For both of the above roles you would need to be approachable, friendly, confident and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.  Additionally, we would expect you to be well organised, reliable, responsible, diligent and be able to react positively and calmly to unexpected incidents.   The nature of both roles requires you to be physically mobile.

An interest in motor sport (either as a competitor or as a spectator) is an advantage and it would be a benefit if you have experience of race marshalling although this is not essential as full training is provided.

It would also be desirable if you are IT literate, numerate and first aid qualified.

A full driving licence is required and access to your own transport would be needed to the rural location of the company.
