We are writing to thank you and your team for hosting the AIM Race weekend.

 

We have had some feedback and people saying how well it was organised.  Although we did the sponsorship raising to pay for the trophies, the hard work was that of running the event - to this the credit goes to you and your team of office staff, marshals, cafe and scrutineering.  We have to say a big thank you to Andrew Webb for his amazing photos.

​

One thing we will say, is when the trophies were handed out for the AIM race, Mick you made the day with all the fun of handing the trophies that were for fun, this made the end of the weekend fun and hearing all the cheers and clapping was just fantastic.  

​

This is a fantastic track and provides so much benefit to those who race and those who want to learn.  Once again, thank you all so much for the huge effort you did you are all stars in our eyes - you made many happy faces!!

I just wanted to say how lovely it was this bank holiday weekend at your Club Rounds 5 & 6.  We travelled all the way from North Yorkshire to support the AIM races as we have their livery on our Junior Rotax (66).  We have travelled to many meetings all over the country and even to the Isle of Man during our cadet days.

We just wanted to say how well run and organised everything was and how clean and tidy the circuit and facilities were.  The briefings were clear and concise and the prize giving by all accounts fun and uplifting, as it should be, with prizes for bad luck or eventful moments.

​

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in telling us information. The people in the paddock were friendly and welcoming and helpful, having never seen the place until Saturday and never driven it until the 3-lap practice on Sunday morning.

​

Absolutely one of the best places we have raced and if we weren't retired from karts we would definitely be back to have another go.

Hi, I just wanted to say what a wonderful day we had today, visiting red lodge for our first time, from the minute we arrived and met the two ladies on the gate, the marshal who came and explained the running order, the marshal who told us there was going to be a lunch break, the lady who explained/told my son and one other boy about social distancing and behaviour (always helps parenting when someone tells my son off instead of me, thank you) lastly the marshal that said goodbye and safe journey home. So just wanted to say thank you and well done I was very impressed and made welcome, and will be back.

The staff I spoke to on the phone to arrange the event were helpful and efficient. I had never organised a karting event before but would definitely visit you again. My only observation on the booking side is that it would have been useful to have an email confirming the details of what I had booked.

Booked karting for 2:00, we were briefed and suited up nice and quickly, are host Will was great and made sure we had the right equipment and knowledge for the track, His briefing was excellent ensuring safety was key, explained all the flags well giving us all the right pointers and rules, we then proceeded to head to the karts, karts (considering there age) didn’t look great, but the engine and steering was absolutely perfect! We then left the pit-lane and the track was great! The track was mostly smooth with lots of room for over taking, long straights for getting loads of speed and loads of nice little bends where you can really push yourself and the kart! Marshalling was great while going round, flags were nice and big so very visible during the race, Marshall’s were all on point being quick to respond to crashes and also putting safety of them selves and customers first! After the first race had a great chat with Nathan and Jacob who gave us some pointers for the racing line and told us how to get better times, second race was just as good as the first and i even improved my time! 

 

Being a Marshall from another GoKart track i can honestly say this is one of the best tracks I’ve been to! Friendly and polite Marshalls and hosts, clean race suits and equipment, well serviced and maintained karts and lastly safety is a high priority!

 

Would definitely recommend!

I think I speak for everyone who came to our event that it was extremely enjoyable: The rules and procedure were made very clear during the briefing, the equipment (gear and karts) were all in good condition and all the staff was very friendly.

All I will say is that we were very pleased with the overall experience and we will be coming to RLK more often from now on! I have also spoken highly of RLK to some colleagues at Cambridge University who I believe will be coming to the venue in August.

​

Something I did appreciate very much was how understanding the staff were when I was trying to collect enough money for the deposit from people. This was a very challenging task as people are very reticent to give money upfront for an event which is a few weeks ahead, and I really appreciated your staff being so understanding and giving me a little extra time to collect the remaining money.

My brother and I raced there from 1996 and to see the wonderful development over the years is really nice. I wanted to thank your manager and your marshals for the work they did with one of my children who was really nervous about racing. You handled it in such an amazing way to get him out there, something I think we wouldn't have been able to do and afterwards he was so happy that he was able to get out on track. You also let him have the track to himself at the end of the session to have any time he lost because he was nervous, something which you didn't have to do.

We attended Red Lodge Karting as a corporate team building exercise (18 people). What was on offer was an excellent day out with a few hours of karting and clay shooting and a BBQ between events.
